We seek an experienced Geographer to prepare and deliver online and face-to-face course content, assess and evaluate students, and facilitate student integration of theory and practices. The successful candidate will teach a variety of human geography courses, including multiple sections of one of our foundational (first year) undergraduate courses (Geographies of the World, GEOG 100). Other courses to be taught would be: Space, Place and Culture (GEOG 330), and either Health Justice (GEOG 363), or Climate Justice (GEOG 364).

Candidates must demonstrate commitment to teaching, learning and student success through scholarship and institutional service. Successful candidates will participate in a wide range of activities outside the classroom, including student support; institutional, faculty and departmental committee meetings and other initiatives; and professional activities in keeping with their disciplines in and outside the institution.

Required Qualifications:

A doctoral degree (or ABD) in Geography or a related discipline from an accredited institution; recent experience in teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the relevant subject areas; and demonstrated excellence in teaching. Candidates who hold a Master's degree and have multiple years of relevant human geography teaching experience may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:
